Dutch-Door Front Door Refinishing in San Luis Obispo

This dutch-door is made of Sapele, an African hardwood known for its red or purple color. Overtime the UV’S will turn the wood blonde. To refinish this type of wood it has to be stripped of any old finish and through the top layer of wood until the inner color comes out. Once a finish sand was completed two coats of UV protection oil were applied as the door manufacturer recommended.
